Fire and Rescue visit Nursery

Last week the morning class in Nursery had a visit from two local firemen and their fire truck. They heard about how the clothes that firemen have to wear and about the variety of jobs they have to attend. From putting out fires to rescuing cows in slurry pits.

Then the children went outside and sat inside the fire truck and then each had a turn at using the fire hose.
