Outdoor Learning Orchard Project

We had such an exciting day today in P6 as we got the opportunity to plant our very own orchard! This project is run by “Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful” and sponsored by Danske Bank. We planted apple and plum trees as well as raspberry, strawberry, blackberry and black currant bushes. We also created a seating area out of tree trunks and bark. We are very excited to have this in our school grounds and it is something the whole school will be able to use.
