P4’s visit to the Ulster Folk Museum!
P4 had a fantastic day visiting the Ulster Folk Museum. They visited one of the farms where they found out all about the Elliot family. Whilst at the farm they had a go at washing clothes like they did 100 years ago, searched for eggs and cleaned out Maggie the pig’s pen area. After lunch, we went to a school from the 1800s (the children were very glad that they didn’t have to do any work whilst in the school), looked around the dress maker’s shop and visited the doctor surgery. We finished the trip with a quick stop in the sweet shop!
