Safer Internet Day 2024
5th Feb 2024
Safer Internet Day takes place on Tuesday, 6th February. The children from P1-P7 will complete age appropriate activities in their classes.
We are very passionate about educating our pupils about online safety and what they need to do if they have a worry or have uncomfortable feelings when using the internet.
The children will be learning to:
🚦 Stop
💻 Close
🗣 Tell
Please take time to talk to your children about online safety and monitor what they are doing online, and with whom they are interacting.
P7 had a visit from local Police Officers last week and were given important advice about how to stay safe online when using mobile phones. Please note, that if anyone is concerned with inappropriate social media content, it should be reported to the PSNI.
Thank you,
Mrs Hanna
(ICT Co-Ordinator and member of School Safeguarding Team)
