Safer Internet Day 2025
Tuesday 11th February is Safer Internet Day, however since NI schools are on their half term break, we are being encouraged to raise awareness of internet safety this week. The children from P1-P7 will complete age appropriate activities in their classes and I talked to them in assembly this morning.
This year the theme is ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online.’
We are very passionate about educating our pupils about online safety and what they need to do if have a worry or have uncomfortable feelings when using the internet.
The children will be reminded to:
🚦 Stop what they are doing and 🗣Tell a safe adult
Please take time to talk to your children about online safety and monitor what they are doing online, and with whom they are interacting.
Thank you,
