Schomberg society visited NPS!
28th Sep 2018
On Friday 21st September P4-7 received a visit from the Schomberg Society. We heard about the plantation of Ulster and how many of the surnames now in Northern Ireland came from Scotland. We got to learn some songs in Ulster Scots and had an opportunity to play some traditional music. We played the bag pipes, lambeg drum and the Fife.
To complete our afternoon we also got to learn some Highland Dancing!
