STEM with Primary Four

As part of their 'Homes around the World' topic, Primary Four pupils designed and created towers which could withstand an 'earthquake' which lasted for ten seconds.

During the activity, the children worked out that towers with wide and heavy bases are less likely to fall over during an earthquake.
