Happy children are Happy to Learn

At Newcastle Primary School we seek to provide a happy and caring environment for each child. We hope that by helping them fulfil their potential, celebrating their achievements, respecting their differences and encouraging mutual respect for others, we will foster self- esteem and provide a sound foundation for their future life.

The staff are committed to building trusting relationships with all the children throughout the school. We work hard to protect and safeguard our children in school and make them aware of what to do when they feel unsafe or worried.

If you ever have a concern as a parent please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Safeguarding Team for Child Protection. This is outlined in 'How a Parent can Raise a concern' document attached to this page.

Helping Hands School

We are a ‘Helping Hands’ school and at Newcastle Primary School we promote that:

❤️Everyone has the right to feel safe all the time

💙Others have the right to feel safe with us

💚There is nothing so awful (or so small) that we can’t talk about it with someone

✋We have learned how to reach out when we feel unsafe.
✋We also learned to reach out to others when they are feeling sad.

We created a collaborative project together as a school showing who we can reach out to when we feel unsafe.
